Ease of Use

The website is centered around six medicine safety tips, mirrored in the site's six main category tabs. All site content can be accessed from the homepage by scrolling down the page. This is as simple as a website can get.

Visual Design

Visually, the website is modern and features a streamlined, professional design. While the site's content is thin and short on words, Up & Away puts in the effort to incorporate pleasant graphics.

Up & Away is essentially a digital brochure to remind parents about accidental poisoning via medications. The content users will encounter is little more than a bullet list of reminders, and therefore does not provide the level of detail necessary to learn about this topic in any real depth. But as a quick reminder, it still has value.

Despite the lack of publication dates and author names, the site's content comes from the U.S. Centers of Disease Control. The information is general enough that substantive updates aren't needed.

  1. Provides guidance for parents and guardians on how to prevent children from accidentally consuming medications
  2. Brief, understandable text in addition to videos and brochures

  1. More detail on how to accomplish each recommendation would enhance usefulness
  2. Different parts of the website repeat the same information in slightly different forms
